SUSPENSION CONCEPT 2 (2018):

I 3D printed this model to test a design slightly simpler than the scissor mechanism but which still maintains a large range of motion.
This model features adjustable linkages so I could empirically find the optimal lengths for this suspension.
The gifs illustrate that when one wheel is lifted high into the air, the rover's weight remains distributed equally across the other five wheels, allowing the drivetrain to maintain control and preventing specific wheels from slipping.
